Gesher Human Services (“Gesher”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it as described in this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy outlines what personal information we collect about you, including how we collect it, how we use it, and with whom we may share it.

  • Submitting an electronic or paper application form to receive services.
  • Inquiring or asking questions to us via phone, text or email
  • Making a payment for services rendered
  • Making a donation or gift

Additionally, Gesher may receive your Personal Information if you’ve chosen to opt-in to a third party, such as a partner agency or service provider, who then shares your information with Gesher as part of a referral for service.

We do NOT share personal information, including email or phone number, to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

With documented consent, we may share personal information with third parties, such as partner agencies and other service providers for the specific purpose of providing the services you requested.

We may also share personal information with third party payment processors for processing payments for services requested.

We may also disclose personal information if we become subject to a subpoena or court order, or if we are otherwise legally required to disclose information. We may also use and disclose personal information to establish or exercise our legal rights, to assert and defend against legal claims, or if we believe such disclosure is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding actual or suspected illegal or fraudulent activities or potential threats to the physical safety or well-being of any person.

How Do We Protect Personal Information?

Gesher takes reasonable measures to secure and protect the personal information it collects. We restrict access to personal information to only those relevant employees and departments who require it to deliver services.  All electronics systems used by Gesher to store and process personal information must meet industry standards for security and are subject to regular reviews and audits.  All Gesher employees sign confidentiality agreements and are trained on secure storage, transmission and destruction of personal information.  Any partner agencies who may be a part of our service delivery are also required to sign a confidentiality agreement as part of the overall service agreement. 

How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information?

We will only keep your personal information for so long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is permitted or required by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). 

How Can I Opt-Out of Informational Correspondence?

We may send you e-mails or text messages with information about our services. If you would no longer like to receive this information from us, please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any such e-mail you receive from us or reply to any such text message with the word STOP.

Social Media Platforms

Any information, communications, or material that you submit to any pages associated with Gesher on social media platforms is done at your own risk and without any expectation of privacy. All such submissions are subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of such social media platforms.
