Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth pairs hospitality with social good
Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth is set on 200 acres and is a former Seminary turned into a hotel. It’s known for wedding venues and meeting spaces — and its profits go to fund local and global non-profit causes.
“This day is about packing lunches and meals for Leo’s Soup Kitchen. Just to give them, you know, give back a little bit. We get everybody involved, get our staff involved. We have the guests involved. It’s a team effort,” said Hannah Waller, director of events.
Whether they’re bagging food for St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen in Detroit or dropping off food for rescue missions — that’s just a small part of a much bigger plan of being a Humanitarian Hotel.
