Volunteering at Gesher

Volunteering with Gesher is an amazing way to learn more about who we are and what we do. And it’s not just about giving your time. It’s about connecting with great people, learning new things, and making a real difference. Our volunteers help spark friendships, build social skills, and brighten the everyday lives of our participants. Your impact truly matters.

There are many fun and meaningful ways to get involved. You can assist in our day programs or residential homes, support our big fundraising events, or lend a hand with special projects that pop up throughout the year.

We keep things flexible too. Most volunteer opportunities happen on weekdays, but we also offer occasional weekend and evening options. So there’s likely something that fits your schedule.

Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers are asked to act as positive role models for participants, staff, and fellow volunteers, embodying Gesher’s mission and core values of people first, integrity, kindness, and forward thinking.
