Southfield seminar targets older workers seeking openings

Many job openings today are being filled by workers ages 75 and older, according to a news release from Gesher Human Services, a human services agency supporting residents in Macomb and Oakland counties.

A recent report in Moneywise showed that this age group was still working — doing everything from corporate management and nursing to operating their own businesses — and are projected to help increase their share of the workforce, from 8.9 percent in 2020 to 11.7 percent in 2030.
